Shall i dare love
In hope of care,caress and tangle,
Can I and not be scarred
And my lonesome and supple heart cracked?
I desire to love
Though restrained in fear
To tread the slippery terrain
With a treasure calabash.
Along the road i see
The pieces of broken hearts
And the demented wits
Of the ones that dared.
Yet i must dare
Baring my heart with love
While in hopeful submission
I plead for mercy.
