I did not come to you
Though in my heart I love you.
Bars and hurdles on my path
Beclouds my sunny heart,
And i groan in my heart
With a pang in my heart
As I let the flower die.
You did not water the flower
With radiant hue and glow,
You did not nurture the love
That promised joy and hope,
This love like a fine flower
Unwatered and untended
So it withered and died.
